In 2006, my husband Thaddeus and I embarked upon the adventure of a lifetime. I visited the city of Hot Springs, Arkansas. While visiting I found a house that I thought was perfect for out new adventure to convert an old Victorian into a Bed and Breakfast. I made an offer contingent upon my husband’s inspection and approval. I returned home to San Diego and my husband came out to Hot Springs. After he inspected the house, he called to let me know that the foundation was not acceptable. I asked Thaddeus to find us a home in Hot Springs.
That was the beginning of a love affair, consuming our lives. My husband bought a house that I feel in love with from a photograph. This is the first glimpse I had of our future home. (Picture of house that Thad sent) Thaddeus e-mailed me a picture and bought it on the spot. After he returned, we sold our home of fifteen years and left with three semi trucks, two dogs, two cats and a dream of what could be.
Bella Vista Bed and Breakfast is a wonderfully inviting Southern home situated in historical Hot Spring, Arkansas. Bella Vista is tucked away only one block from historical down town and bathhouse row. A beautiful glimpse of Hot Springs National park can be seen from the windows of the carriage house. In the evenings, you can hear the horse and carriage as it passes by in front of the house.
